Hey there! So sorry about the interruption in blogging-but I won’t have internet in my apartment until Friday evening, so please bear with me! My weekend was spent, well, moving. Although I did take a break Saturday night to go out with friends. We hit up downtown Scottsdale and had an absolute blast. It was my first time going “out out” around here and I loved it! We had a great time and can’t wait to do it again.
I wore my favorite black dress:
And we danced our little hearts out. There are some incriminating nice pictures but I didn’t take them and therefore don’t have them to share with you.
I do, however, have this:
This is what happens when you try to re-create the Garbage Plate at 2am.
For those of you who don’t know, a Garbage Plate originated in Rochester, NY-where I grew up-at Nick Tahou’s (pronounced like “Tahoe’s”) restaurant.
It’s basically everything you can think of on a plate-potatoes, ground beef, hot dogs, macaroni salad, onions, grilled cheese, and you can pick and choose your toppings! You can read more about it here.
While ours came on separate plates, and wasn’t quite the same, it still hit the spot after a long night out! Oh yes, and it’s around 1,500-2,000 calories for one of those babies. Whew.
Luckily I spent all of Sunday moving!
My new place, a la box:
Moving night dinner of champions:
I ordered the orange chicken (I think that’s what it was called) and I wasn’t too impressed. The chicken didn’t have a lot of flavor and the “noodles” (I ordered Lo Mein”) were flavorless. I ate half for dinner and packed the rest away to be bulked up for lunch the next day.
(That’s after I’d eaten my half for dinner)
Sweet!!!!
Thank you guys for being patient with me until I get internet. I’m off to pay some bills here at the ‘Bucks and then I’m going to have a margarita and a taco by myself.
It is National Margarita Day, after all.

Hope the unpacking goes well! Can’t wait to see the new place soon
